Dog Lover Gifts Biography
I began creating custom gift baskets for the clients of my pet sitting business and received so much positive feedback and many compliments about my baskets that I decided to create a small business that caters directly to pet lovers and their furry, finned, and feathered family members. For years I have created custom gift baskets for many family occasions, but I decided to tailor my line of baskets specifically for pets because I love searching for new toys and treats and quality items created with the pet lover in mind.
Our pets are family, and as such, I want to offer people a way to express their love and passion for the animals and animal lovers in their life. When a friend received a Happy Birthday basket filled with items for herself and her dog, she said it was the nicest birthday present she ever received, and was touched that her beloved dog also received a gift!

It takes a special person to love an animal. Pets need love and care just like people do. Dogs have been touted as "man's best friend". Those that love them want others to know about it. Here are some gift ideas for the dog lover in your circle.
Dogs come in all shapes and sizes. They fit the personality of the person that owns them. Therefore, dog lovers come in all shapes and sizes and have varied tastes. Knowing the person that you are buying for is essential to finding just the right gift.
Dog owners treat their pets like children. Proud parents always want to display pictures of their children. One gift idea is picture frames. The picture frame can be shaped like a dog bone or a doggie face. You can have it engraved with the dog's name for that extra special touch.
Photos aren't limited to traditional picture frames. You can take a few pictures of Fido yourself. Crop the pictures to fit into a key chain picture frame for their key ring, a magnetic picture frame for the fridge, or a locket that they wear around their neck.
Dog lovers love all sorts of dogs. Don't limit your gifts to those that include their pet. Some other gift ideas: T-shirts, decorative license plates, mugs, pillows, and throws. The pillows and throws can be covered in doggie footprints.
The gifts should appeal to the person who is being gifted. If they don't drink coffee, don't give them a mug even if it has a picture of a cute little dog on it. If they love to read, for instance, think along those lines. Dog bookmarks, dog-shaped name labels for books, and dog print book covers are great and unique ideas. A dog-themed tote bag to carry all of their treasured tomes is nice, too.
Whatever you choose for a gift, show that you put some thought into it. A dog print birthday card is good, but, if you know this person well, a singing card featuring a canine virtuoso would be fabulous. It's funny and different.
If your dog lover has recently lost a canine companion or doesn't have one right now, a dog could be your gift idea. Be careful, though. Choosing the proper dog for a person is a matter of personality. You can choose a dog that is the same breed but a different color than the deceased canine. Have the new doggie groomed and place him in a covered wicker basket wearing a big bow.
The purpose of dog lover gifts is to express feelings that you can't put into words. Show how special this person is to you by choosing a gift that speaks to their dog loving side.
